Each year, the Deer Valley Education Foundation holds an extensive nomination, application, and interview process to choose the DVUSD Teachers of the Year. On January 26th, February 9th, and February 23rd at 6.30PM a different group of 2019-2020 Teachers of the Year and Rookies of the Year will be recognized at each meeting (see below to see which teachers will be recognized on each date).
As a result of social distancing, only Principals and family member of each awardee are able to attend in person, but these award ceremonies are live-streamed and can be viewed at https://livestream.com/dvusd/events/9501814 and look for meeting date (please be patient through the blue screens during the presentation).
