Over the last few years, DVEF has funded more than $60,000 to our Deer Valley School District for DVEF Classroom STEM kits. DVEF Classroom STEM kits are distributed to teachers to help them with hands-on science lessons. These STEM kits bridge research and practice by providing tools and strategies to engage students and teachers in enduring experiences that lead to a deeper understanding of the natural and designed worlds. Most recently, we have purchased TEVA building kits (advanced wooden blocks with instructions) for schools in the total of about $6,000 from grants received.
